Dr Catherine Spencer-Smith

Cath qualified in 1995 from St. Bartholomew’s Hospital in London, and then trained in sports medicine at Bath University. She has worked with an extensive range of different sports, treating all levels of participants, ranging from Olympian and Paralympians, to the occasional exerciser. She was a Sports Physician at the 2002 Commonwealth Games, has worked with GB rowing, marathon and endurance sports, premiere league football and rugby, as well as extreme and adventure sports. Cath is a university lecturer, has been an advisor and presenter in several television productions, and is a keen marathon runner and triathlete.
